Week 9

I have taken the last few days off work, enjoying relaxing and trying to get over this ear infection I have. It doesn't seem to bother me all the time, but when it acts up I get light headed and dizzy. Today the weather got humid. Ok, it's about 20% humidity but for Vegas that is high and I can feel it. I hate the humidity, even at 20%. I was out a bit today and it really drained me. I'm home enjoying the cool, dry central air of my place and I won't go back out. Though we are entering Monsoon season and that means from now until around mid-September we can expect higher humidity and more rain.

Today has been good on NS. I went out for breakfast but still ate well. I had a egg-white omelette with a small, very small piece of ham and about half a piece of toast and 8 oz of oatmeal. Approx 440 calories.

Lunch was NS Entree (vegetarian sloppy joes) over wheat bread mixed with some polenta. Cals 300

Dinner : NS Entree (salisbury board steak and rice), polenta, and stir fry veggies with some seasfood medly mixed in. Cals. 550.

So another good day in the NS world.

I haven't updated my weight for a while because I have to get batteries for my digital scale and just don't feel like going out to get them. But I will soon.

Oh what I wouldn't give for 20%! Here we are running at about 90 deg and 69% humidity. I lived in Tucson for years, and miss those low numbers. One thing I don't miss is Monsoon season, you enjoy that. I'll just stick with hurricane... wait, I take that back.. Monsoon season doesn't sound so bad, LOL!!

Congrats on the eating right, but your numbers seem low. 1300 calories is really low and could cause you problems. I was getting 1800 calories a day for the first 8 months and lost almost 100lbs. I am at 1500 now. If you don't get enough you system will enter starvation mode and you could stop losing. Don't want to see you fail at this (or get sick!) Have a good week!

Your weather report sounds just like ours. Although the last few years have not brought much rain with the monsoon, and it just ends up humid (like 30%) for a few months and hot as hell. Literally.

Get some batteries!! You gotta track that progress. I think I'd die if I couldn't weigh myself. I'm a little obsessed. Good job with your food. Hope you had an equally good day today.
